Business Roundtable with Thai Commerce Minister Pichai

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the US-ASEAN Business Council are pleased to co-host a Business Roundtable with His Excellency Pichai Naripthaphan, Minister of Commerce of the Kingdom of Thailand. This event provides a unique opportunity for members to engage directly with Commerce Minister Pichai and accompanying senior officials on Thailand’s economic policies and trade priorities in 2025. The roundtable will also allow for meaningful dialogue to address challenges, explore investment opportunities, and strengthen commercial ties between the United States and Thailand.

The meeting will be held at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on February 7, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Please note that seating for this event is limited and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis (one representative per company). Speaker Bio

In 2024, H.E. Mr. Pichai Naripthaphan was appointed as the Minister of Commerce, Thailand. A businessman-turned-politician, Mr. Pichai was a successful executive in the real estate and gems industries. Prior to his current role, he served in several prominent ministerial positions, including Deputy Minister of Finance, Minister of Energy, and as an advisor to the Prime Minister. His extensive experience in politics and businesses has been widely recognized, positioning him as a promising political figure capable of enhancing the country’s trade performance from this year onward. Aside from ministerial post, Mr. Pichai was the chief of the economic team and the deputy chairperson for strategy and politics of the Puea Thai Party. H.E. Mr. Pichai Naripthaphan obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, and a Master of Business Administration from Chulalongkorn University.
