12th Annual U.S. Chamber International IP Index Launch

Event Description

On Thursday, February 22, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will release the twelfth annual International IP Index highlighting the extraordinary role intellectual property (IP) plays in supporting innovation and creativity and driving global economic growth.

The 2024 Index maps the IP environment of 55 global economies based on nine categories that are indicative of a strong IP system. The Index also demonstrates the many socio-economic benefits economies can receive when governments’ embrace more effective IP protection, including increased innovative and creative output, greater access to venture capital, and more foreign direct investment.

The Index data illustrates that when economies make a conscious policy choice to invest in stronger IP protection, the economic benefits are real!
