On Wednesday, February 22, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will release the eleventh annual International IP Index highlighting the extraordinary role intellectual property (IP) plays in supporting innovation and creativity and driving global economic growth.

The 2023 Index maps the IP environment of 55 global economies based on nine categories that are indicative of a strong IP system. The Index also demonstrates the many socio-economic benefits economies can receive when governments’ embrace more effective IP protection, including increased innovative and creative output, greater access to venture capital, and more foreign direct investment.
