Jennifer Sugarman serves as the President & CEO for the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce (CBRCC). In this role, she oversees the daily operations of the chamber, its councils, clubs and committees and its nine additional employees. The CBRCC serves as the voice of business in the central Brevard region and beyond, serving over 1,500 business partners.

Prior to this role, Jennifer was the Director of the CBRCC’s Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB). In this capacity, Jennifer managed the day-to-day operations of the CVB’s Tourist Information Center (TIC) in Cape Canaveral, FL and its kiosk location on the first floor of Port Canaveral’s Exploration Tower. Jennifer also managed a small staff and over 30 volunteers, all sharing the common goal of enhancing the visitor experience in the Cocoa Beach area. She worked alongside Chamber volunteers to begin negotiations to move the TIC into the heart of Cocoa Beach, which has since come to fruition.

Jennifer managed all marketing and communication efforts for the CVB geared towards increasing tourism and conventions to the Cocoa Beach area.
Prior to her time at the chamber, Jennifer served as the Communications and Investor Relations Manager for the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast (EDC). In this role, Jennifer assisted in the management of media relations for the county’s economic development team, assisted in development of targeted marketing collateral, managed investor relations and oversaw a county-wide marketing campaign entitled “Made in Brevard.” This campaign was developed to promote a sense of pride in products made in Brevard County, FL. Jennifer also managed the agency’s S.N.A.P. program, aimed at enhancing and expediting all of Brevard County municipalities’ permitting processes. Lastly, Jennifer led a public, public, private partnership entitled “P4” which led efforts to create symbiotic partnerships among the county, its municipalities and the local military installations.

Jennifer is a United Way of Brevard Board member, member of the EDC’s Community Marketing Council and Space Coast Defense Alliance, a member of Career Source Brevard’s Career Center Committee and an active contributor to local media on a variety of business-related topics.

Jennifer is originally from Atlanta, GA, where she graduated with a B.S. in Communication from Kennesaw State University. In 2019, Jennifer earned her “IOM” (Institute for Organizational Management) designation in Non-profit management at the University of Georgia, Athens through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She is a proud mom to son Emmett, 3.5.
