With 20 years of deep experience supporting Black communities, Simone Jordan serves as the Head of Purpose & Partnerships at SheaMoisture. Her leadership has been recognized with awards by Cosmetic Executive Women as a 2022 Social Impact Honoree, Black Women Talk Tech as a 2023 Gamechanger, and honored last year as a Women En Blanc honoree during Essence’s 2023 Festival of Culture. In 2023, Simone also co-created and executive produced SheaMoisture’s Next Black Millionaire docuseries that is currently streaming on ROKU. Among other recognitions, Simone also sits on the board of organizations like Girls with Impact and Dartmouth Tuck School of Business Diverse Business Program, which are equipping women and girls with the skills and confidence to become business leaders.
Simone has managed over $16M in investments to small Black-owned businesses in her current role, including ensuring 44,000+ women in Africa receive fair wages for their handcrafted ingredients, funding for more than 250 U.S. businesses, and resources and services for 25,000+ community members.
