Matthew Carr is currently the President at Beck Flavors. Matt has made company growth and making Beck Flavors a top workplace his top priority. Beck Flavors looks to double its size over the next 3-5 years. During his time as President, Beck Flavors has been named to the Inc 5000 list and has been awarded a Top Workplace by the Saint Louis Post-Dispatch. Matt led the initiative to design and build a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to accommodate Beck Flavors growth. That facility opened in April of 2021. In 2024, Matt and his business partner Paul Tripi were honored that Beck Flavors was selected as a Co-100 Honoree by the US Chamber of Commerce.

Matt has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Tulsa and brings experience in marketing, strategic planning, and program development. He was appointed by President George W. Bush and Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez to the District Expert Council in 2007.

His volunteer work is long and varied. He has also volunteered at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital since 2003, was a member of the Bob Costas Gala Committee from 2008-2016, serves on the Board of Governors for Cardinal Glennon and since 2022 has co-chaired the Glennon Live fundraising event. He also had experience on the boards of Saint Martha’s Hall and Rohan Woods School. He served on the advisory corporate board for Nulixir at present too. Matt and his wife of 21 years Ashley have a son Jack (19) and a daughter Taylor (15).
