Javier Rodriguez is the Chief Executive Officer of DaVita Inc., a FORTUNE 500 company providing healthcare services and operations in 11 countries. DaVita strives to improve patients’ quality of life through clinical innovation and integrated, personalized care. DaVita’s global operations include 2,900 dialysis centers and 65,000 teammates serving over 225,000 patients with kidney disease.
Mr. Rodriguez is an experienced leader driving DaVita’s efforts to transform how kidney care is delivered. He is passionate about creating an integrated, high quality experience for all patients with kidney disease, while lowering cost for the health care system.
Since joining DaVita in 1998, Mr. Rodriguez has served in a number of capacities with the company, including leading kidney care operations and payor contracting. Prior to joining DaVita, Mr. Rodriguez worked in finance for Baxter Healthcare Corporation, and in operations for CBS Marketing Inc. in Mexico City.
Mr. Rodriguez earned a master’s degree from Harvard Business School and completed an executive program at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from Boston College. Mr. Rodriguez was named one of the 2015 Top 10 Leaders by Hispanic Executive magazine. He serves as a member on the board of directors for Gilead Sciences Inc. (NASDAQ: GILD) as well as the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce.
