José Fernandes is President and CEO of Honeywell Technologies for Latin America, responsible for accelerating the growth of the company's main business segments in the region: Building Automation, Industrial Automation, Process Automation and Process Technologies. In this leadership role, José drives the sustainable growth of a strategic region for the company, positioning it as a pioneer in sustainability and technological innovation. The company operates with more than 5,000 employees across different facilities in the
region. These facilities include regional and local headquarters, commercial offices, production facilities, as well as global customer and business service centers, as well as a technology and innovation center that offer world-class solutions to local and global markets.
José joined Honeywell in 2018 to lead the Performance Materials and Technologies unit (currently called Process Technology) in Latin America. Under his leadership, the
company implemented strategies and solutions focused on helping customers reduce their carbon footprint and accelerate their digital transformation. Prior to joining Honeywell, José served as President for Latin America at Dover Corporation and held senior leadership positions at Dow Chemicals and Rohm and Haas. Over more than three decades of career, he has built extensive experience in business transformation and growth in dynamic markets such as Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and the United States.
José holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Fox School of Business at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Based in São Paulo, Brazil, he is fluent in four languages, which allows him to lead and guide multicultural teams effectively.
