Sarah Brenholt joined Cargill in 2022 and currently serves as the Director of International Government Relations, where she focuses on international policy issues related to the company's businesses in the Western Hemisphere and Africa. She previously served on the federal policy team, advocating for environmental sustainability policies and advancing bioeconomy initiatives through strategic engagement with policymakers in Washington, D.C. Sarah began her career in federal policy in 2017 as a policy assistant at Henderson Strategies, Inc., where she played a key role in the Stronger America Through Seafood campaign. She was later promoted to Campaign Manager, achieving significant advancements in aquaculture policy.

Before her work in policy, Sarah started her professional journey as a staffer for a Senate campaign in Colorado. After that, she transitioned into transportation management at Graebel Van Lines, Inc., and later shifted to higher education, working at the University of Denver in research and sponsored programs. A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, Sarah now lives in Virginia with her husband, two children, and a dog.
