Josh Brown currently serves as the President and CEO of the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Tennessee Manufacturers Association. In this role, Josh leads a statewide organization that advocates for Tennessee�s business and manufacturing sectors and promotes policies that drive innovation and economic success across the state.
Josh is a lifelong Tennessean and resident of Williamson County, with over 25 years of experience in government, corporate, and association leadership. Prior to his current role, Brown spent 15 years at Pfizer, where he ultimately served as Vice President of US Government Relations. In this capacity, he led federal and state advocacy efforts, managed teams of government relations professionals, and built coalitions with policymakers and key organization and stakeholders.
Prior to his work at Pfizer, Josh ran his own government relations and consulting business based in Nashville, spent 5 years with CoreCivic (then Corrections Corporation of America), and worked in the office of Tennessee Governor Don Sundquist for 5 years.
Josh has been involved in numerous organizations outside of work, including serving on the boards of Life Science Tennessee (where he served two years as Chair) and Franktown Open Hearts. Josh was appointed by the Williamson County Commission to a seat on the Williamson County Board of Education in 2021 and elected to a full term in 2022. He currently serves as Chair of the Board.
Josh received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from Lipscomb University. He resides in Franklin with his wife and three children.
