Ms. Yanachkov currently serves as Senior Manager, Federal Policy and Government Affairs at Waymo where she is responsible for setting and executing the strategic plan for engagement with Congress, engaging third parties at the federal and national level; and on issues relating to artificial intelligence, privacy, and accessibility.
Prior to joining Waymo, Ms. Yanachkov was Vice President of External Affairs at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) where she was a member of the Executive Leadership team. Ms. Yanachkov has also led projects for the Department of Commerce, and managed State Department grants in Haiti and Afghanistan, combating human trafficking and enforcing international law.
Ms. Yanachkov currently serves on the Boards of Partners for Automated Vehicle Education, and the Partnership for Transportation Innovation & Opportunity as well as the Advisory Councils of the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute, and GlobalWIN. Ms. Yanachkov holds a Juris Doctor from Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. She is fluent in Spanish, Bulgarian and English, and proficient in French and Portuguese.
