This session will feature Veolia’s Karine Rouge in conversation with Alexandra Cousteau, a leading ocean restoration advocate. Alexandra will focus on the important relationship between oceans and climate challenges and her innovative work around promoting seaweed research to sequester carbon and as a possible feed additive to reduce methane emissions from livestock. The discussion will highlight sustainability experiences in addressing oceans conservation issues and how the private sector can partner with NGO’s and governments to accelerate global sustainability objectives.
