Reggie Singh is the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy and Critical Minerals (ECM). In this role, he oversees teams working to diversify and strengthen U.S. critical minerals and energy supply chains. He previously served as the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Director in Bridgetown, Barbados from 2021-24, with responsibility for Eastern Caribbean security assistance. Earlier assignments included Deputy Economic Counselor in Jakarta, Indonesia from 2018-21 and Acting Deputy Director for Eastern European Affairs.

He also served on detail to the U.S. Trade Representative as Director for Southeast Asian Affairs. Other posts have included Sydney, New Delhi, and Mexico City.

He has a BA from the University of Maryland and a JD from Georgetown.
