USIBC Semiconductors and Electronics Mission

Event Description

Dear Members,

The U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC) invites you to join the upcoming Semiconductors, Equipment, and Electronics delegation to Transform Tomorrow at SEMICON® India 2026.  As an official partner, the delegation comes at an important inflection point as India looks to expand its semiconductor ecosystem, long dominant in research and development (R&D), into the fabrication, testing, and package portions of the supply chain. As India accelerates implementation of Phase II of the India Semiconductor Mission, the Chamber plans to bring leaders from the industrial inputs and electronics sectors to network, discuss technology, drive policy, and provide thought leadership.

The USIBC Semiconductors and Electronics Mission offers companies a timely opportunity to engage directly with this national transformation and position participants in one of Asia’s fastest-growing digital economies. Mission participation will give companies opportunities to meet to senior Indian and third country government counterparts, industry leaders, and a broad set of other stakeholders. The delegation provides a platform to explore partnerships, evaluate investment opportunities, and join the policy dialogue tied to India’s evolving semiconductor landscape.

This mission is open to companies across all industries. USIBC will help coordinate with the Semicon organizers, as well as develop separate briefings, dinners, sidebar roundtables, and meetings. We also plan to meet local officials from the Centre and State Governments, Members of Parliament, and delegations from third countries. Finally, the delegation will seek meetings with (but not limited to):

  • Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY)
  • India Semiconductor Mission (ISM)
  • Department of Telecommunications (DoT)
  • Invest India
  • NITI Aayog
  • Office of the Principle Scientific Advisor (OPSA)
  • Department of Science and Technology (DST)
  • National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS)
  • Ministry of External Affairs (MEA)
  • U.S. Embassy Delhi

Members of the Chamber may participate at $3,000 for one delegate or $5,000 for two delegates. For non-members the fee is $5,000 per delegate. Several dinners and lunches are included as well as transportation for delegations to/from Semicon, and offside meetings or roundtables. We have a reserved a block of hotels near the event venue (cost not included). While this mission is open to all members, we highly encourage participation from both United States and regional representatives.
