Mark joined Honeywell in December 2021, assuming the role of the President for Central and Eastern Europe. In the previous 4 years Mark led the Polish subsidiary of Microsoft. During his tenure Microsoft announced its biggest investment in CEE - one billion dollars for data center region in Poland as part of new strategic partnership with Poland's National Cloud Operator established by PKO Bank Polski and the Polish Development Fund. Prior to taking over as CEO of Microsoft's Polish division, Mark Loughran was CEO of the Consumer & Devices Sales division at Microsoft in the UK for 3.5 years. During this time, he and his team achieved outstanding sales of consumer products and solutions offered by Microsoft. Prior to joining Microsoft, for 14 years Mark worked for GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) where he spent 6 years managing the company business in Central and Eastern Europe including 4 years as a General Manager and President of the Management Board at GSK Poland. Mark also held the position of Sales Director and, next, General Manager at Nokia UK & Ireland, where he introduced the first smartphone into the British market. Later, he worked for PACE (currently known as Arris), a television and broadband technology company, where he led a team of hardware and software engineers and sales teams responsible for the sales of digital services to the biggest telecommunication companies in the world. Mark received MA and PhD from the University of Cambridge where he studied Natural Sciences.
