Mr. Mark Schott is a Senior Director in UOP’s Carbon Capture & Clean H2 business. UOP LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Honeywell International. Mark was appointed to this role in 2020 after driving the growth of UOP’s Gas Processing and Treating business during the prior 4 years, he had previously served for 5 years as the Director of Business Development for UOP’s Modular Gas Processing business and for three years as the Country Manager for UOP Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

UOP LLC is an international supplier of process technology, catalysts, engineered systems, and technical and engineering services to the petroleum refining, petrochemical, chemical, and gas processing industries.

Since 1982, Mark has held roles in business management, sales, marketing, project management, and engineering. He has hands-on experience designing, operating and servicing onshore and offshore Gas Plants and leading large international projects for the gas processing industries. In addition, he has direct experience in sales, marketing, and engineering management. Mark has served UOP in a number of significant management roles including General Manager Gas Processing, Business Development Direct for GP&H, Gas Processing & Hydrogen Industry Segment Leader, UOP Malaysia Country Manager, Gas Processing R&D Manager, Product Line Manager Gas Processing & Engineering Center Leader Gas Processing during which he managed the design, procurement, and construction of process units for UOP’s Gas customers throughout the world. Prior to joining UOP, Mark was Global Sales and Engineering Manager for Gas Processing in Hoechst Celanese Separations Products Division.

Mark earned a Bachelor’s of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering and Economics from Carnegie Mellon University.
