Yuval Steiman is the director of eco-compliance and research at Hyundai Motor North America (HMNA). In this role he is responsible for leading HMNA electrification initiatives, including BEV/FCEV expansion, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure strategies.  He also leads all HMNA market research activities to support these strategies.  Yuval joined HMNA in 2016 as the senior group manager of Genesis Product Strategy, where he was responsible for guiding the strategic direction and introduction of the Genesis lineup.

Prior to joining Hyundai, Yuval worked for Toyota Motor Sales USA, Inc. from 1999-2016, where he held numerous positions throughout the organization. In his most recent role at Toyota, Yuval was national manager of Lexus Product Marketing and Motorsports, where he led the development of Lexus marketing strategies for all product launch and sustainment efforts.  At Toyota he also held the position of national manager of Advanced Product Strategy, where he guided the future product line-up for the Lexus, Toyota, and Scion brands. Other roles included leading Lexus incentives, business planning, and product planning. Before joining Toyota, Yuval worked at Land Rover North America in retail development and distribution.

Yuval received his Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing and corporate strategy from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and received his Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Maryland.
