Jacquie Berger is the Executive Director of Lowcountry Local First, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing economic prosperity and local ownership through innovative and inclusive initiatives that build our community’s wealth and wellbeing. Berger is deeply enamored with the mission of the organization - believing in the power and the impact locals have when they deliberately support and invest in each other.

Since 2021, she has spearheaded the growth of the organization's pro bono consulting services - ranging from commercial space advising to a marketing grants program. Under her leadership, multilingual entrepreneurship training and support has expanded, serving diverse communities throughout the Lowcountry both independently and through robust partnerships. By nurturing innovation and responding to the ongoing needs of members, Berger has presided over access to capital initiatives and a new Localist Card program.
