Ben Abzug is a native Midwesterner, who's been a part of the Charleston RiverDogs' front office staff since 2013 in various roles, currently serving as the Senior Vice President. In his role, he oversees the Club's corporate partnership program and helps guides the Club's overall sales and marketing strategies, for which the Club has received national industry recognition.
The RiverDogs pride themselves on being a gathering place, supporter and connector for the greater Charleston community, and in 2025, the RiverDogs were chosen as the winner of Minor League Baseball's national MiLB Together Award, given to the Club that best supports its local community.
A graduate of Purdue University, Abzug previously worked for Minor League Baseball clubs in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Burlington, N.C. He resides in Mount Pleasant with his wife, Jess, and their three children, Joanna, Hazel, and Grant.
