Drew Rak is a project manager for Toyota North America. He received his bachelor's in environmental science from Clark University and his master's in environmental management from Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment. Rak began his career working as a toxicologist, working 3 years with the US Air Force and 4 and a half years with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Working as a toxicologist Rak specialized in risk analysis conducting and reviewing ecological and human health risk assessments for large-scale federal projects, including DERP, FUDS, BRAC, MMRP, and EPA Superfund sites. Prior to working with Toyota North America, Rak was a senior project manager for Noblis. He served in this role for 20 years and provided senior level advisory services to defense and civilian agencies on ESOH, CBRNE, sustainability, and risk assessment issues. Managed Noblis' support for a wide range of life sciences, chemical, and material risk assessment/risk management programs within DoD and DHS. Led an amazing and dynamic group of subject matter experts on sustainability, regulatory affairs, and lifecycle assessment to identify and mitigate threats to homeland security and national defense. Specialized in sustainability and risk analysis for large-scale federal (defense and homeland security) clients.
