Brendan Casey is the director of economic at FTI Consulting. Casey received his bachelor's in economics from Hofstra University, an his PhD of economics from Clark University. Casey began his career working as an instructor and teaching assistant for Clark University. In that role he was able to research and work on projects in the economics and environmental space. After his work in academia Casey transitioned to working as a senior economics analyst for ICF. Casey worked in this position for 3 years and conducted economic and regulatory impact analysis for a variety of regulations at government agencies such as DOL, EPA, NRC, etc. Additionally, he developed statistically adjusted end-use models of electricity demand for a Midwest utility company. After ICF and prior to working with FTI, Casey began working as the deputy director of economic analysis at the American Clean Power Association (ACP). He served in this role for 3 years and conducted and directed industry research and market reports for US land-based wind, offshore wind, solar, and battery storage markets. Provides economic impact, policy, and GIS analysis.
