Ben Gann is the Senior Director, Government Affairs at Oxy. He works on legislative and regulatory issues related to OxyChem. Prior to Oxy, Gann was a Director for the American Chemistry Council (ACC) where he managed the North American Flame Retardant Alliance (NAFRA) and consortia for flame retardants with TSCA test orders.

Previously, Gann served as Director of Legislative Affairs and Grassroots at SmithBucklin (2011-2019), the nation's largest association mangemen company, where he represented the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association, Window and Door Manufacturers Association, NASSTRAC, BSCAI, NALHFA, and NACCED.

Prior to SmithBucklin, he worked in government relations at NUCA (2006-2011) representing utility and excavation contractors. Additionally, Ben Gann received his Master of Professional Studies in legislative affairs from The George Washington University, and his bachelor's in management from Guilford College
