Event Description
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and College Board invite you to the exclusive launch of a bold initiative to bridge the gap between high school classroom learning and workforce needs. This partnership tackles an urgent national need: ensuring students graduate not only academically prepared but equipped for career success.
Preparing tomorrow’s workforce. At the event, we will unveil a national survey of 500 employers that confirms what many already know: the right talent depends on how we prepare students. Advanced Placement Career Kickstart rises to this challenge—business-backed career courses that combine 70 years of college-level rigor with industry-guided relevance. Millions of students will access the courses, credentials, and skills they need to pursue high-growth careers and provide strong wage potential.
Why it matters. The future workforce is in classrooms today. Together, business and education can build a stronger, intentional pathway from classrooms to careers. This isn’t just an education challenge—it’s an economic imperative.
Join us on September 17th. Come hear from business leaders, policymakers, educators, and students about this essential effort and how you can join in preparing young people for careers that will shape the future.
