Investment Task Force Call: EXIM Priorities in Africa Post-Covid-19 Pandemic

On Wednesday, November 18, at 9:00 AM EST, the U.S. - Africa Business Center (USAfBC) will host its next Investment Task Force call featuring Judith Pryor, Member, Board of Directors, Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) as well as Sunil Kaushal, Regional Chief Executive, Africa and Middle East, Standard Chartered Bank and Chair of the Investment Task Force. In Africa, EXIM has played an important role in ensuring the necessary financing to boost U.S. firms' competitiveness and realize the overarching objectives of the U.S. government's Prosper Africa initiative. During this meeting, Board Member Pryor will speak to EXIM trade and investment priorities in Africa and how these priorities may drive post-Covid-19 economic recovery. Sunil Kaushal will share his perspective on how private sector companies can support these efforts.
The purpose of the Investment Task Force is to focus on U.S.-Africa investment trends and policy priorities that enable a favorable investment environment across the African continent as well as increased capital flows between markets.
