Kevin Chow is the Executive Vice President and Head of Aerostructures and Systems for ST Engineering’s Commercial Aerospace. As the head of Aerostructures and Systems, he has global P&L responsibility for a portfolio of businesses including: Nacelles, Cabin Interiors & Engineering Solutions, Composite Panels, Freighter Conversions, Unmanned Air Systems, Precision Manufacturing and Wing-in-Ground craft.
Previously, Kevin was with the Thales group. He was based in France from 2022 to 2024 as the Vice-President of the Air Traffic Control global business segment. He also served as the first Singaporean Country Director and CEO of Thales in Singapore from 2016 to 2022, during which he was responsible for driving Thales’ growth across all of its five markets: Aerospace, Space, Ground Transportation, Digital Identity & Security and Defence & Security. In recognition of his contributions in building strong business and economic ties between France and Singapore, Kevin was knighted Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Merite in Feb 2020.
Prior to Thales, Kevin was the Vice-President/General Manager of an aerospace business unit for ST Engineering from 2014 to 2016, spearheading the company’s foray into the mid- to end-of-life aircraft leasing business. He was also Vice President of Strategic Plans and Business Development from 2010 to 2014, overseeing strategy, alliances, partnerships and Mergers & Acquisitions activities for its aerospace business. Kevin had also worked for the Singapore government from 2001 to 2010, based in the Economic Development Board’s Singapore and Europe offices. Notably, in 2010, he held 3 concurrent appointments: Deputy Director (Transport Engineering), Deputy Director (Precision Engineering) and Deputy Director (Europe Desk).
In these roles, he was part of the management team that oversaw EDB’s initiatives in the following sectors: aerospace, marine, land transport, oil & gas equipment and services, machinery and systems, and precision modules & components. An awardee of a Public Service Commission (PSC) scholarship by the Singapore government, Kevin concurrently obtained his degrees in Masters of Science in Aerospace Vehicle Design from Cranfield University, UK and Diplome d’Ingénieur (Masters Degree in Engineering) from Ecole Nationale d’Aviation Civile, Toulouse, France in 1999.
