Jens Fehlinger currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Management Board at Swiss International Air Lines Ltd., a role he assumed in 2024. Prior to this, he held senior leadership positions across the Lufthansa Group, including Managing Director and Accountable Manager at both Lufthansa City Airlines and Lufthansa CityLine.
His experience spans strategic, operational, and crisis management roles, having led initiatives such as the Group’s ReNew Restructuring Program and Operations Performance Management.
Mr. Fehlinger began his career in aviation with Lufthansa Airlines, where he also flew as a Senior First Officer on the A380 and previously on the A320.
He holds an Executive MBA with studies in Madrid, Los Angeles, and Singapore, a Master of Science in Traffic and Transportation from Darmstadt, and an international degree in Aviation Engineering and Management from Bremen. In addition to his executive role, he serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Edelweiss Air AG.
