Erin McCleave is the vice president of Connected Aviation Solutions (CAS) Strategy &
Transformation. In this role, Erin partners with key stakeholders across the company to set our
strategy goals and meet the quickly evolving digital needs of our customers. She has a keen
focus on where the industry is headed and what customers need to maintain a competitive
edge. She is based in Charlotte, NC.
Erin has been with Raytheon Technologies for over 20 years in legacy Collins’ businesses and
corporate headquarters and has held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering,
program management, strategy, mergers & acquisitions, and general management including
leadership of multi-site US and International business entities with over 1,000 employees and
revenue above $500M per year.
Erin holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MBA from
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She also holds a PhD in Organizational Management from
Capella University School of Business & Technology.
She has researched and published works on both technical and business topics including most
recently her quantitative dissertation on the use of the Servant Leadership model in technologyfocused aerospace organizations.
Outside of work, Erin and her husband are raising two energetic teenagers. Her hobbies include
reading, travelling, amateur archeology, pottery, and working towards her private pilot’s license.
She is also passionate about diversity and inclusion and is proud to have been among the
founders of RTX Will Rise program, dedicated to the advancement of women in line leadership
roles in aerospace
