Since 2016 Newell has served as CEO of Orizon Aerostructures. Headquartered in Kansas City, Orizon is a vertically integrated supplier of major subassemblies for the 737 MAX, F-35 and other leading aerospace programs. Starting in 1996 (and including Orizon), Mr. Newell and his brother Henry have owned, operated, and sold many different manufacturing companies, several of which have been in the aerospace industry. Prior to those investments, Mr. Newell managed multiple businesses for an international shipping company and was an auditor for Touché Ross and Company. Mr. Newell graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in Business Administration and Accounting.
