Gabe Okolski is a Senior Underwriter on AXA XL’s Americas-based Political Risk and Credit team. With more than a decade of experience across several billion dollars in commercial aircraft financings, Gabe underwrites credit insurance policies under secured loans, JOLCOs, lessor warehouse facilities, and other aircraft financing structures. Prior to working at AXA XL, Gabe was a Senior Vice President at Marsh, where he helped to develop the Aircraft Finance Insurance Consortium, an insurance-backed aircraft financing platform. He began working on aircraft finance transactions as a Loan Officer at the Export-Import Bank of the United States and previous worked at the US Department of Transportation’s Office of Aviation Analysis. Gabe has a bachelor’s degree in political science from The George Washington University and a master’s degree in economics from George Mason University. He is an FAA single- and multi-engine, commercial, instrument-rated pilot.
