Scott J. Wright is President of Huntsman’s Advanced Materials Division. As a specialty chemicals business, Huntsman’s Advanced Materials Division focuses on providing enhanced and more sustainable material solutions to the complex challenges faced across a wide range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, electronics, power generation and transmission, among others. With more than 25 years in the chemical industry, Scott has spent his career at Huntsman, after the company acquired ICI in 1999. Beginning his career in research and technology, he quickly advanced through a number of roles of increasing responsibility in product development, business planning, marketing, and sales. In 2011, he joined the Advanced Materials Division as Regional Vice President of Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Scott was appointed to his present role in June 2016. Born in Scotland, Scott studied at the University of Edinburgh where he earned both a bachelor’s degree and Ph.D. in Chemical Physics.
