Tony Frazier is an operating executive and corporate board member who drives innovation at the intersection of commercial space, data analytics, and national security. He is a trusted mission partner across the national security and space communities who has won billions of dollars in new contract awards with U.S. and International Government customers, has incubated and grown two new businesses to more than $100M, and established strategic partnerships with 3rd party data and technology companies to fill key product gaps.
Tony delivers more than 30 years of entrepreneurial leadership experience building high performing teams, delivering innovative solutions, and driving profitable growth. Some of his major accomplishments of note include:
Building a $300M government services business that was initially $25M by acquiring and integrating companies that operated under six different brands to create a unified culture with less than 12% attrition and $1B backlog. Establishing a joint venture with Saab contributing data assets for 50% ownership of a 3D technology company that was eventually acquired and scaled to a $100M business. Overcoming WorldView-4 satellite loss in 2018 which impacted EBITDA by $85M to capture over $200M of replacement revenue between 2019–2022 that took Maxar’s stock price from $4 to $53. Partnering with military commanders and combat support agencies to apply commercial space and machine learning to dynamic targeting missions proved in exercises and transitioned into operations. Leveraging Small Business Innovative Research data rights from a $40M acquisition to win over $250M of sole source awards employing hundreds of team members to support multiple government customers.

Most recently, he was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Public Sector Earth Intelligence (2022–2023) for Maxar Technologies (NYSE: MAXR), leading a 1,200-person team of sales, business development, program management, product management, engineering, and intelligence professionals focused on supporting current missions, capturing new awards, and building differentiated products. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President of Global Field Operations and President, Radiant Solutions.
From 2013–2017, Tony was with provider of commercial satellite imagery and geospatial analytic services DigitalGlobe (NYSE: DGI) as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Services. He joined the company after it acquired GeoEye (NASDAQ: GEOY) where he had been Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management.
At Cisco Systems (2008–2010), he was Senior Director, Product Management for a new business unit within the Cisco Emerging Technologies Group. Prior to that, he served as VP of Field Marketing, Americas Region for Infor.
He honed his strategy, product, and growth skills with IBM, iPhrase. pcOrder.com, and Bain & Company.
Tony earned a Bachelor of Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA with distinction from Harvard University. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Iridium Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: IRDM) where he is the Audit Committee Chair. He is currently a Board Member and the Governance Committee Chair of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (2020-present) an education non-profit that serves over 100,000 students per year. In 2023, Tony joined the Board of Trustees of the Intelligence and National Security Foundation where he has helped endow the LTG Vince Stewart Intelligence Career Pathways scholarship
