As the executive director Groundwork, Duke works with community partners across Arkansas to develop and advocate for innovative housing solutions.
Duke came to Groundwork after serving as the senior director of government affairs and community relations for AIR Communities, a national apartment focused real estate investment trust based in Denver, Colorado.
Prior to joining AIR Communities, Duke held several roles at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Federal Housing Administration focusing on government sponsored lending programs, large-scale urban renewal development, multifamily development and distressed asset disposition. Duke served in the White House prior to his time at HUD.
Duke earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from Missouri State University and a law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law. He is married with three amazing children.
