Marty is the Founder and Managing Member of Hometown Collection by Mitchell & Best. A multi-function real estate firm that manages entitlements, develops land and builds houses. Hometown Collection focuses on a product line of houses about 2,000-3,000 square feet, but can also build houses up to 5,000 square feet. Hometown Collection has built a handicapped accessible house for the needs of a client and expects to build Net Zero Energy Homes in the future.


Prior to starting Hometown Collection, Marty spent 32 years at Mitchell & Best Homes. Mitchell & Best is a homebuilder in the Washington DC – Baltimore metropolitan area. The company has been in business for 50 years and has developed over 60 new communities. Marty performed roles from Accounts Payable, Land Development, Product Design, Financing and CEO. During his time Mitchell & Best delivered over 2,000 homes. Marty is completing Mitchell & Best’s last project, Becraft.


Marty started his own company, Hometown Collection by Mitchell & Best about three years ago.
