John Crosby is the Chief Executive Officer of the Window & Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA), where he leads the industry’s strategic advocacy, research, and member-engagement programs. With more than two decades of experience in association management and ten years in the construction sector, John has guided manufacturers through regulatory complexity, championed data-informed policy, and helped elevate industry credibility in Washington D.C. and beyond.

John is credited with the establishment of the Architect's Journey to Specification initiative, which he designed and launched at the American Institute of Architects to demystify the attitudes, preferences, and habits of building design professionals when selecting products and materials for construction projects.

John attributes his passion for construction to an internship at Colonial Williamsburg during his college years. He was part of a team that crafted bricks using 18th century practices. When the project was completed, tens of thousands off bricks were approved for use and installed in the courthouse building in the Historic Area during a renovation project.
