Erik Eppig is the Director of Coalitions at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. His work includes growing the Chamber’s advocacy efforts and grasstops business relationships by developing and engaging coalition members through strategic communications, events, and other engagements.
Previously, Erik was a senior manager of coalitions at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a nonpartisan public policy think tank, where he focused on state and local outreach and government affairs. While at AEI, Erik's policy portfolio consisted of workforce development and housing. Prior to that, he held concurrent project management roles at Allegis Partners and the Directors Academy, a nonprofit focused on corporate governance education and training for future board members. Erik began his career in Washington overseeing several grant and award programs at Atlas Network, a global network of independent think tanks dedicated to advancing individual liberty, property rights, limited government, free markets, and the rule of law.
Erik graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Studies. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and their dog.
