Travis Taylor is the Director of the Office of Risk and Resilience for the Alabama Department of Insurance.
An Alabama native, Travis received his B.A. in Liberal Arts from Auburn University at Montgomery.
He is an Army veteran and brings more than 25 years of experience to the ALDOI. Travis has worked in a variety of professional settings, ranging from sales in the pharmaceutical industry to program management in the Department of Defense contracting offices.
His experience with companies like Boeing, Miltope and Northrop Grumman has allowed him to manage multimillion-dollar contracts and programs within the government space. That experience made him a perfect fit to manage the Strengthen Alabama Homes grant program, along with being Flood Plain Administrator for the State of Alabama. He is also a member of the Alabama Resilience
Council.
Travis is a passionate outdoorsman who loves golf, hunting and fishing. He and his wife Lisa have three daughters and they reside in Montgomery, Alabama.
