In partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome you to our 4th virtual Digital Economy Policy Roundtable, focusing on Vietnam. This session will feature a U.S. government panel with remarks from:

Speakers will delve into Vietnam's digital economy and opportunities for U.S. companies. Furthermore, the discussion will underline how certain Vietnamese draft cyber and digital economy legislation can affect all sectors. We will include updates on Vietnam’s:

  1. Draft Personal Data Protection Decree
  2. Cross-border digital service tax (Draft Circular on the Law on Tax Administration and Decree 126 / ND-CP)
  3. Draft implementing regulations for Vietnam's Law on Cybersecurity
  4. Decree 72 - Draft Decree amending earlier Decrees covering the management, provision, and use of internet services and online information
