Roundtable with Digital Minister KONO Taro

Please join the U.S.-Japan Business Council, the Center for Global Regulatory Cooperation (GRC), and the Cyber, Space, and National Security Division for an off-the-record roundtable with Japan's Digital Minister KONO Taro at 2:45 p.m. on Monday, January 8. The 75-minute meeting will be held at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, 1615 H Street NW, Washington, DC. Minister Kono is visiting Washington, DC as part of a trip to discuss with G7 counterparts ways to better operationalize global data governance models such as Data Free Flow with Trust (DFFT). He would like to meet with the U.S. business community to hear their views on DFFT and other topics of interest. Minister Kono can also share his outlook on Japan's political situation as well as his priorities as Digital Minister for 2024.
