Nadia Primus is the Manager of Quality and Safety Improvement at Hackensack Meridian Health(MHM). She has more than 15 years of nursing experience and more than four years of experience in quality improvement. She leads the network’s improvement improvement initiatives reducing nulliparous term singleton (NTSV)cesarean delivery rate and eight other maternal health metrics, overseeing the quality improvement work at all 13 of HMH’s acute care hospitals. She leads evidence-based practices to increase quality, safety and lower harm, using an equity lens in all of her work. She graduated from Ramapo College/University of Medicine and Dentistry with her bachelors of nursing and received her Masters degree in nursing from Kean University; she will receive her MBA from Monmouth University in December 2021. She is a standing member of the National Quality Forum (NQF),IHI, AWHONN and CPPS. She is currently slated to present her improvement work at IHI and AWHONN at upcoming2021 conferences. She is deeply committed to improving health outcomes of women and children through her leadership, advocacy and clinical work.
