Lisa B. Callahan is Vice President and General Manager of the Commercial Civil Space line of business for Lockheed Martin Space. In this role, she is responsible for all aspects of execution, strategy and growth in the Commercial and Civil markets of human and robotic deep space exploration, communications, and weather and remote sensing.

Lisa leads the teams who are building and operating spacecraft that unlock the riddles of our universe. From developing the next human lunar lander and the Orion spacecraft, part of the Artemis program, which will return humans to the Moon and eventually go to Mars and beyond, gathering samples from asteroids, developing and operating the robotic spacecraft that explore the secrets of our solar system, peering back in time with the Hubble telescope or significantly improving the way that forecasters predict severe weather and fires across the western hemisphere with the GOES weather satellites, her team connects people across the globe with scientific discoveries, a window into our galaxy and satellite communication solutions.

Previously, Lisa served as Vice President of Corporate Internal Audit for Lockheed Martin where she reported directly to the Lockheed Martin Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. Lisa is credited with providing independent, objective assurance and advisory activity to improve the Corporation’s risk management, governance processes and operations.

Lisa’s prior Lockheed Martin leadership roles also include Vice President and General Manager of the Mission Systems & Training Undersea Systems line of business, Vice President of the Maritime Ballistic Missile Defense Program and Program Director for the Simulation Training and Support business.

Lisa graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. She is a member of the Engineering Advisory Boards at University of Southern California and University of Colorado – Boulder.

Lisa is married with two children. In their free time, her family fosters puppies with a local rescue and are proud to have found homes for more than 500 dogs.
