Event Description
The U.S. Chamber’s 4th Annual Transatlantic Business Works Summit will convene senior business leaders and government officials from both sides of the Atlantic for thoughtful conversations about how to seize this moment of strategic unity of purpose to create durable prosperity. We will host panels and keynote addresses on the following topics:
- Bridging National Security and Economic Security
- European Ambassadors' View of Transatlantic Cooperation
- Responding to Energy Challenges
- Investing in the Future of Sustainability
- Leveraging the Trade and Technology Council for Success
Change is the watchword on both sides of the Atlantic, as the United States and Europe respond to a rapidly evolving geopolitical and global commercial landscape. Russia’s unjust invasion of Ukraine has brought war back to European soil; supply chain snarls, inflation, and skyrocketing energy prices have made for uneven post-pandemic recovery; and extreme weather events have brought into vivid relief the imperative of responding to climate change with sensible policies and practices.
Yet, with crisis comes opportunity, and the United States and Europe are collaborating more closely than they have in decades: longstanding, high-profile trade irritants are on the way to final resolution, a new platform for dialogue on trade and technology has been stood up, and the two sides have demonstrated a remarkable degree of unity in response to the war in Ukraine. Yet, the pressure to look inward in response to the unprecedented confluence of events is very real, especially in election years. Business, government, and other stakeholders must work hand in hand if we are to rise to these challenges and provide tangible solutions.
We hope you can join us on November 10!
