Barbara Camille Ehimika leads the U.S. policy engagement for Aveva as its Director of U.S. Government Affairs and Public Policy. Aveva is a global industrial software company that assists industrial companies with the trusted insights they need to create, innovate, and drive the responsible use of resources. Barbara has over a decade of experience in issue advocacy, policy development and communications. Prior to joining Aveva, Barbara served as the Legislative Director at Up for Growth Action a nonprofit housing advocacy organization. She also served as a Legislative Representative at the AFL-CIO’s Transportation Trades Department, where she oversaw the organization’s rail portfolio and priorities on budget and appropriations issues for all modes of transportation. Previously, Barbara was a Federal Relations Manager at the American Petroleum Institute and served as a Special Assistant to Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA).
