Please join the U.S.-Africa Business Center (USAfBC) and Global Innovation Policy Center (GIPC) for this briefing on the 2021 U.S. Chamber International IP Index. This event will discuss how to bolster innovation and creativity through stronger IP protection across Africa. 

Innovation and creativity drive job creation, foster foreign direct investment, and support economic growth across Sub-Saharan Africa. Innovative and creative industries thrive in countries with strong and effective IP protection, which enables investment into the next generation of technology. As countries across the region strive to grow domestic industries in order to become more globally competitive, strong IP laws and robust enforcement mechanisms will be critical to this goal.
