The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is launching a new research initiative to examine the factors driving U.S. biopharmaceutical competitiveness and benchmark the United States against key global competitors, including China. The project, which will be conducted in partnership with Oxford Economics, will explore how policy, investment, talent, innovation, and market conditions shape America's leadership in the life sciences sector. We invite you to join an upcoming member briefing to preview the initiative, discuss the proposed research framework, and provide feedback on issues most critical to the industry's long-term competitiveness.

The briefing will also provide an opportunity to discuss potential research priorities and ensure the study reflects perspectives from across the biopharmaceutical community. We encourage members with an interest in biopharmaceutical innovation, competitiveness, research, manufacturing, and healthcare policy to join the discussion.

This meeting is invite-only, closed to the press, and open only to U.S. Chamber of Commerce members. Additionally, since the meeting is off-the-record, the use of AI notetaking, recording, or other transcription tools is prohibited.
