The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to join a business community discussion on the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF). With last month's ministerial in LA and some further clarification of IPEF's negotiating objectives, we would like to coordinate in developing the business community's approach to IPEF.

Ambitious in its scope but lacking the Congressional mandate central to prior free trade negotiations, the IPEF presents a real advocacy challenge to the business community. Nonetheless, the Chamber and many other business groups are publicly supportive of the IPEF, while working to achieve meaningful outcomes for the business community. Notwithstanding the challenges posed by the lack of market access provisions, there are still opportunities to make progress on issues of importance to business.
