U.S. Chamber of Commerce COP30 Events
The Economics and Policy Support to Scale Sustainable Aviation Fuel
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce, Brazil, and Bayer, invites you to a high-level side event at COP 30 focused on the role of scaling Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in decarbonizing aviation.
Taking place on Saturday, November 15 at 1:00 pm at Casa de Bayer in Belém, Brazil, this event will bring together leaders from Bayer, Topsoe, ExxonMobil, and members of Congress to explore the economic and policy frameworks needed to scale SAF. Key topics include harmonizing SAF standards, incentivizing investment, fostering public-private partnerships, and integrating SAF into broader energy transition strategies.
This event will also highlight Brazil's unique potential to lead in SAF innovation, thanks to its strong bioeconomy and renewable energy infrastructure. Attendees will engage in discussions on overcoming key challenges such as feedstock availability, high production costs, and infrastructure gaps. Please do not miss this opportunity to be part of a global dialogue shaping the future of sustainable aviation.
