The Global Innovation Policy Center cordially invites its members for an intimate, off-the-record fireside chat with the Hon. Kathi Vidal, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and Shira Perlmutter, Register of Copyrights and Director, United States Copyright Office (USCO) to discuss the application of the Chamber’s IP Principles Initiative.

The Chamber, in collaboration with over 30 partner organizations, launched the IP Principles last September. This fireside chat aims to facilitate a discussion between the Director and Register on the significance of these principles in shaping U.S. public policy. It will also explore the role the private sector can play in promoting strong, robust IP rights within an inclusive innovation ecosystem.
