Please join us for an introductory dialogue with colleagues from the UK’s Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy to discuss the new UK Conformity Assessment (UKCA) mark. As you are likely aware, beginning in January 2023, products which had used the CE mark to denote their safety for the European market will need to be replaced with the new UKCA mark to be able to be placed on the UK market.

Adrien Couderc and Emily Spearpoint Walsh from BEIS’ Office for Product Safety and Standards will join us to provide an update on UKCA implementation and answer questions regarding the new system. Their department covers implementation for the range of sectors outlined here. They will also be able to provide an update on the UKCA for medical device manufacturers.
