Please join us for a Roundtable Discussion with Director General Koopman. We will discuss Ukraine’s accession path to the European Union, the EU’s proposed €50 billion Ukraine Facility, and the G7 Ukraine Multidonor Platform, and the impact of the recent grain ban.

DG Koopman is the EU representative to the Multidonor Platform. He will also coordinate the EU’s work on the Ukraine Facility and on Ukraine’s EU accession. The Ukraine Facility aims to provide up to €33bn in loans and €17bn in grants between 2024 and 2027. The Government of Ukraine will be required to submit a recover and reconstruction plan, as well as meet reform benchmarks, in order to access the funds.
