Decoding Disclosure: What International Disclosure Standards Mean for U.S. Business
Event Description
Please join the U.S. Chamber's Center for Capital Markets (CCMC) and Europe Program on Thursday, September 7th, at 9:00 AM ET for an in-person event, as we delve into the evolving landscape of international disclosure.
We are happy to announce our keynote speaker, Emmanuel Faber, Chair of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). He will partake in a thought-provoking discussion about the ISSB’s recently-released universal baseline standards for disclosure and the organization’s next steps.
Following the keynote, we'll discuss the state of climate-related disclosure, dissect key European Union regulations like the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D), and explore the implications for U.S. companies here at home.
Don't miss this insightful discussion on the future of corporate transparency.
